TeamDynamix (TDX) Phases
Pilot
Three units began the implementation of TeamDynamix (TDX) for the University of Illinois System. These colleges successfully implemented the ticketing portion of TDX in August of 2020.
- Grainger College of Engineering (UIUC)
- College of Education (UIUC)
- Information Technology Services (UIS)
Phase 1
Phase 1 consists of two independent pieces.
CA Service Desk Manager, UIC RT, and Clarity Consumers
Units that currently use CA Service Desk Manager, RT (UIC-only), and/or CA Clarity for ticketing, project management, and change management, will be migrated to the TeamDynamix platform. This transition is being completed in stages to allow for ample focus to be given to each adopting unit. Phase 1 is expected to be completed by June 30, 2021.
A total of 84 units will be a part of this migration. Some of the units migrating in this phase include:
- AITS (System) - ticketing, project management, change management
- College of Business (UIUC) - ticketing
- Technology Services (UIUC) - ticketing, project management
- Technology Solutions (UIC) - ticketing, change management, project management
Onboarding
Phase 1 will also include developing the process for other university departments to request onboarding.

Phase 2
Transition to Service Operation
Units who are not part of the Phase 1 migration (using CA Service Desk Manager, RT (UIC-only), or CA Clarity) and requested to be onboarded will be migrated to the TeamDynamix platform in an order determined by the respective university’s Advisory Group.
